Affiliate Marketing Manager - Brighton, MA

ButcherBox has an opening for a new Affiliate Marketing Manager. In this role, you will get to work on a team that is leading the industry, working with the top food influencers in the country. This position will be in charge of developing, managing, and supporting an elite affiliate program. You will be joining the Partnership Team to help meaningfully grow our customer base by continuing to build and enhance ButcherBox’s extensive influencer/affiliate network. Responsibilities 
  • Reach out to potential affiliates by combing through social media platforms
  • Identify & prioritize new potential audiences that would love ButcherBox
  • Screen, approve, and onboard new affiliates and influencers - both ones that we've contacted, as well as incoming applications 
  • Develop and iterate methodologies to assess and evaluate the long term potential of influencers and affiliates
  • Coordinate monthly promotion with accounts through CRM and handle one-off requests as they arise from each partner
  • Manage and provide customer service to existing affiliates
  • Cultivate relationships and build rapport with both existing and new affiliates
  • Track and analyze metrics - report on the affiliate program activity and campaign performance with the Growth Marketing Team and with the affiliates
  • Hit quarterly goals and sign-up metrics
  • Find new ways to increase performance and drive significant results through the affiliate marketing channels (strategize and brainstorm)
  • Communicate with everyone ranging from micro to macro level influencers, agents, celebrities, and CEO’s of companies – by phone, in-person, and/or in writing
  • Assist on CRM optimization – build out segments, emails, and customer journey’s to communicate more effectively with lower-tiered and automated affiliates 

 

Requirements
  • 0-3 years of marketing experience (entry level ok)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, extremely well organized, strong attention to detail
  • Empathy – the ability to see and meet the needs of our affiliates
  • Familiar with Excel and crunching data
  • Able to work well in both an independent and team environment
  • Eager to learn, collaborative, supportive, respectful, easy going
  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and work well with various team members
  • Thrives in a member-obsessed, scrappy, and fast-paced environment where everyone takes accountability for their work

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other relevant subject
  • Experience in business development, partnerships, or influencer marketing is a plus
  • Experience using a CRM
